Everything you need to know about booking Quartet Volute for your wedding.
We recommend enquiring 9–18 months before your wedding date. Popular summer Saturdays book up quickly, but we do sometimes have availability at shorter notice — it's always worth getting in touch.
Yes. We offer bespoke arrangements for processionals, the signing of the register, first dances and any other moment you'd like something personal. Just mention your requests when you enquire and we'll let you know what's possible.
Our fee covers travel within the M25, one bespoke arrangement, and the full performance for the agreed duration. We'll also guide you through your music choices — we've done this many times and know what works. Anything beyond that, such as extended travel or PA hire, is agreed in advance and clearly itemised in your quote.
This is entirely flexible. Most couples book us for 2–4 hours covering the ceremony and drinks reception, but we can extend for the wedding breakfast and evening festivities. We work with your schedule and venue.
Not at all. We perform in whatever configuration suits your day and budget — duo, trio or full quartet are all available, and for larger celebrations we can also put together an expanded string ensemble.
We're based in London and perform regularly across the home counties. We're also very happy to travel further afield — just let us know your venue and we'll include any additional travel costs clearly in your quote.
We perform acoustically in most venues, which suits ceremonies beautifully. For larger spaces or outdoor receptions, we can arrange a PA system. Just tell us about your venue when you enquire and we'll advise on the best setup.
Yes, with the right setup. We need shelter from direct sun and rain to protect the instruments, so a covered terrace, marquee or shaded garden area works well. Just let us know your venue layout when you enquire and we'll advise on the best arrangement.
In the rare event of illness or emergency, we maintain a trusted network of professional dep musicians of equivalent calibre. Your wedding will always be covered.
